As I reflect on our grand opening and ribbon-cutting that happened last month for the expansion of Recovery Café Medford, I can’t help but feel proud. Proud of the people who made this happen and proud of those who come through the doors. Proud of those who choose to reach forward and create a new life for themselves and proud of those who reach back and grab the hand of someone behind them. Proud of the effort it takes to choose love over judgment. Proud of those who do hard work on themselves to better understand who they are and what their place is in this world.
As we begin using the new space at 214 East Main Street to welcome more people, the love and growth continue. I believe people grow when they are loved. To be able to show love, you need to feel loved. Everyone is loved at Recovery Café!
As we move forward as an organization specifically created to motivate people to grow, we are looking at new and innovative ways to help people go to the next level and become who they’ve always wanted to be.
